SIBWELL
Some children and young people grow up with a brother or sister with a mental health condition. While most siblings cope well, some siblings find this difficult. We do not know why some siblings have a harder time coping than others. We also do not know how best to support them to prevent them from becoming unwell. This project aims to answer these questions, so that we can develop resources to support siblings. This study is titled SIBWELL: Supporting siblings of children and young people with mental health conditions in their wellbeing.
This project is led by Irena Tetkovic and supervised by Professor Tamsin Ford at the University of Cambridge, Department of Psychiatry.
